Movie Review: IT 2

Today we gonna review a supernatural horror film: IT2, however IT Chapter two is certainly a relative flop as a horror/thriller.

PlotIn 2016, 27 years after 1989, the number of missing people in Dray increased. Outside the amusement park, under a bridge, a man is pushed into a river by a thug and caught by Pennywise the clown, showing pennywise once again appearing to harm the residents of the town.

Mike Hanlon, a member of the loser club at the time, had not left Dray town for years, while the others had gone their separate ways. Mike Hanlon, who had spent years researching the origins of Pennywise and the ways to get rid of Pennywise, decided to call together the members of the loser club, and this time bet penny wise to the punch. So, 27 years later, scattered "loser clubs" are reuniting against Pennywise the clown.

Review:

IT, the first appearance is very sharp, open big shut, even if you have forgotten the story characters, also won't forget the yellow raincoat boy in the sewer was eaten that scene. The shape of It is also changing with the plot and characters. The first part of the film opens with a very strange way of eating a passer-by (it was supposed that the couple would become some kind of key figure, but it turned out to be a mere passer-by), and the young man seems to be an adult, which is somewhat contrary to the first part's plan to only attack children. After the audience is familiar with the image of Pennywise, the fear will inevitably fade away. The main form of It in the second part of burning goose is still Pennywise. Once you have expectations, it's really hard to create the atmosphere of the first part. It's like a shot. Just wait. What happens when you find a little girl in danger? It was eaten at that time, without any unexpected plot.

The truth about It is also a problem. The mystery is the only way to create a thriller/horror, and when It can be popularized, the colour of science fiction covers the primary colour.

In addition to the low sense of terror, there are other parts of the plot that are difficult to explain. Like is IT a mental attack or not? < / p > < p > in the Chinese restaurant fright, Bev returned home to encounter abnormal aunt found that the old building has been broken, Rich was plaza statue attack after the calm god found everything as usual, and so on. IT does seem from these Bridges that IT is really a mental attack, a one-to-one custom mental attack. Eddie and Bill had a problem. Eddie gets spit all over his face, the vision disappears but the vomit is still there! What the hell? According to me! Everyone else got out. Bill doesn't have any damage leftover, but he's got a mission item out of a fucking illusion believe it? This sacrifice is not used to dry the Boss, how easy to get from the Boss? You don't have to tell me this paper boat has been stuck in the drain for 27 years to get it.

Spirit attack or physical attacks confusion at the time of Armageddon has reached the peak, when Eddie after overcoming psychological barriers, by throwing spear of the faith that was behind IT a claw from Yin died after god, yes IT seems not expected but if no accident, because IT is Eddie, this sense is a little weak unintelligent package is own debuff, or what? Isn't it a mental injury? Isn't It only effective if the other person has a fear of It? Why is IT different here with Eddie? Eddie was obviously no longer afraid of IT, but he died anyway. The only reasonable explanation is to be killed by a physical attack. Alright, maybe what triggered the physical attack. But between "Eddie's death" and "the protagonist's awakening", It had at least 10 chances to kill the protagonist and inexplicably lost It. At this time, all my emotions were confusion and inferiority. I wondered if I had a problem with English listening and missed some details. I didn't care about fear at all.

At last, Stanley's explanation of suicide was too short and the logic chain was too long. I could not keep up with it and was forcibly moved without reacting. I'm scared. I'm scared. I knew we had to get back together to have a chance to win and survive. But if I were alive, I would probably not face It with you again, so in order not to drag you down, I would like to die first... It's very logical but it always feels wrong... It seems that the fear of It is much greater than the fear of death. Right? Compared with other people's reactions, it was hard to know whether Stanley was brave or cowardly. After all, I instinctively felt that if a person was not afraid of death, he would be fearless.

Of course, all this confusion and incomprehension can be explained by itself, for example, It can only launch physical attacks when It is not directly facing the protagonist, but It really takes a lot of effort and time. It's really not worth doing this kind of kung fu for the sake of entertainment. What I see is a movie. If you can't speak clearly by 6 hours of text, that's your problem. It series although not, but all the need to support the novel comic book fans can come over to step on your face fans to the movie is obscene, should be spit on by the people, thrown into the garbage of history.

To sum up, young friends who love horror movies are likely to be disappointed. This movie may not meet your needs.

But does the movie's evaluation dimension stop there? Not really. At least when I was grading the movie, I had a lot of ups and downs. On the one hand, is really touched, was cured, but a horror movie was I regarded as psychological chicken soup and feel really very uncomfortable, that hard injury is also real.

I suggest those of you who have watched the first movie carefully, don't rewatch it before you watch it or watch the review video organized by a good Samaritan on the video website. Why are you still so anxious two years after they have forgotten you for 27 years? It's a wonderful interactive experience to be able to recall the main characters with vague memories. I really can't remember the names or the details, but the movie does a really good job of evoking the memories, the clever timing and editing, which makes it clear who I am at the beginning and who I am at the end. Little objects, little scenes, bring you back to the great adventure you had with this group of people. The only thing that wasn't good enough was that the opening scene about Henry wasn't handled very well, how a pile of corpses came out of the sewers and ended up in 1989, and I was still wondering who this crazy fat guy was when I saw old Henry. But then it came back to me. But this kind of interaction is also limited, you remember clearly how to subdue the demon to remove the method, the protagonist is still in a disorderly call really let a person worry, but this circle back to the criticism of the horror film before.

All in all, this movie is a failed horror movie, a successful chicken soup, and an excellent sequel. When the childhood nightmare was finally eliminated, the discrete friendship was condensed, the scars on hands were healed, and the unfinished romance was continued. After Mike was relieved of his burden and drove to the distant place, everyone felt warm in his heart. Maybe middle-aged people felt even more, just like we had hope for tomorrow.
